CleanEvent Services helps to protect clients and the public

The CleanEvent Services team at Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness have received a letter of appreciation for their community engagement from the Police Scotland Chief Inspector.

This follows several incidents in the area.

  • The proactive intervention of the CleanEvent Services security team resulted in the successful tracing of a repeat “vulnerable missing-person.”
  • The security team assisted police in identifying a fraud case which had occurred within a store at the shopping centre. Not only did the team alert police to this unreported incident, but in anticipation of their attendance had identified the

CleanEvent Services expands its Northern Ireland Portfolio

CleanEvent Services has secured the cleaning services contract at the award winning W5 Science and Discovery Centre at Odyssey in Belfast.The contract includes the provision of daily and periodic cleaning, window cleaning and washroom services, and is a welcome addition to other major contracts in the city, including the SSE Arena at Odyssey and the recently opened National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.

A focus on enhancing the visitor experience and creating an environment that encourages repeat visits and longer dwell times is central to CleanEvent Services’ market offering.

Congratulations to our award winners at Arsenal

Many congratulations to our employees Nathalia Nascimento and Janayne Carvalho Silva on winning the CleanEvent Services Employees of the Month Award for October.

On 19th October, Arsenal were playing Bulgarian champions Ludogorets at the Emirates Stadium, in the Champions League group stage.  An incident occurred with a group of VIP’s from Ludogorets, who did not speak English, and who were the family of one of the players. The group involved included very young children and the query concerned ticketing.

CleanEvent Services Annual Conference 2016

The CleanEvent Services annual conference, held on 18th October at Birmingham City Football Club, was kicked off by our CEO Tomas Gronager, sharing the company vision and our focus on entrepreneurial spirit.

The entrepreneurial theme was continued by our keynote speaker, Edin Basic, who shared how he had embraced opportunity on his journey from refugee to millionaire. Edin spoke little English when he fled the Balkan conflict in 1992, but after working in restaurants, set up the first branch of the pizza company Firezza with his business partner. What a week it’s been for CleanEvent Services! Returning from our annual conference (which was held at the Walton Hall Hotel in Warwickshire) it was a fantastic and memorable event for the whole CleanEvent Services family. Kick-starting the occasion on Tuesday morning, our CEO, Tomas Gronager gave us an overview of the business performance from the past year, highlighting our success but also shining light on our goals for the future. The Vodacom Durban July has become South Africa’s premier crowd gathering event due to the perfect blend of sport and glamour.

Freshney Place Training Success

The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) has awarded Andy Barker, Pat Dean, Neil Grice, Danni Burton and Tom Harrison at Freshney Place with certificates after completing training at Freshney Place.

The ‘Cleaning Professionals Skills Suite’ certificate covers a variety of modules such as dust control, damp mopping, suction cleaning of a hard/soft floor, cleaning of toilet facilities, buffering hard floors, bodily fluids and sharp objects. The team have since looked at cleaning in a whole new light, feeling they had learnt a lot.

3572 Azerbaijani cleaners successfully trained.

Over in Baku, local QHSE Trainers Yusif Mammadov and Asad Allahverdiyev trained 3572 Azerbaijani cleaners. Each cleaner was trained in eleven games time safety procedures, using videos produced by Tommy Cowen. Asad received a Manchester City shirt and Yusif a Manchester United shirt as a thank you for their efforts. Here they stand with Bob Boote, Graham Drew & William Burns.
