Role Description

Reporting to the Venue Presentation Manager, this role is responsible for cleaning areas within the venue. This is a part time role requiring 15 hours a week Monday – Friday mornings. Additional casual hours will be available over the weekend on event days. Full training and inductions will be given.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining your area of work
  • Vacuuming
  • Sweeping
  • Collection and removal of waste
  • Cleaning washroom areas
  • Mopping
  • Using rotary and scrubber drier machinery
  • Outdoor and indoor event pre cleaning/during/post cleaning (to be discussed at interview)



  • Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience and knowledge (essential)
  • Ability to work in a team and independently (self-organisation skills essential)
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment (essential)
  • Must be able to speak and understand English at a communicative level
  • High Standards of attention to detail
  • Knowledge  of cleaning procedures (including use of equipment) preferable but not essential
  • Willing to undertake appropriate training as required
  • Willingness to work additional hours as required
