Role Description
A key role working within the Human Resources department and the operational team, you will drive recruitment and the effective retention of staff. The role involves working collaboratively with the operational team and HR with the full recruitment process. The role will also involve travel to the sites to support on induction or recruitment days. The role is a hybrid role and ideally the successful individual should be based in the South of England. There will be some requirement to work in the office and also our venues.
Key Responsibilities
- To co-ordinate and deliver the recruitment and selection process on a day-to-day basis, including drafting adverts, advising hiring managers on best practise, negotiating costs, arranging interviews, carrying out salary assessments and sending conditional offers of employment
- Proactively approaching candidates regarding live vacancies
- Short listing and screening candidates, arranging and holding interviews in conjunction with venue management
- Organising and holding recruitment fairs
- Completing all pre-employment checks, such as verification of identification, reference checks, DBS applications etc
- Carrying out recruitment analysis,updating HR manager and producing/presenting reports and (KPI’s)
- Driving recruitment efficiency, reducing job vacancy levels, increasing candidate quality, and improving recruitment processes
- Complying with all relevant employment or other law relevant to recruitment, including data protection compliance
- Design and place adverts for current vacancies
- Ensure the recruitment and selection process is inclusive, and in support of equality policy
- Co-ordinate and deliver maintenance and update of the HR recruitment database, producing reports as required
- Assist with the preparation of senior management inductions
- Keep up to date with current legislative, recruitment, safeguarding and DBS requirements, adapting working methods policy as need and directed by Head of HR / HR Advisor
- Build relationships with agency contacts and procure the best rates and candidates available
Experience required:
- End-to-end recruitment experience
- A good understanding of the legislative, contractual, and inclusive requirements of recruitment and selection
- Ability to build relationships and negotiate with stakeholders and agencies
