CleanEvent and Quayclean International Exchange Program Comes to an End.
After 6 weeks away on the return leg of CleanEvent Services International Leadership Exchange Program with Quayclean in Australia, Corey Watts and Klaudia Zieba are home and back to work within their client venues at Cheltenham Racecourse and Ascot Racecourse respectively.
On return from their work placement program, during which they immersed themselves in the Australian work environment, CleanEvent caught up with Corey to find out more about his experience; “During my time on the Australian exchange program, I learned a lot about a new culture, way of working and different perspectives.
One thing that I want to bring back to my current role, is the importance of open-mindedness and flexibility. I found that being adaptable and willing to try new things, was key to my success on the exchange program and I believe that incorporating this mindset into my work back home with CleanEvent Services will help me to be more successful and innovative in my role.
Overall, I am excited to apply the skills that I learned on the exchange program to my current role and continue to grow both personally and professionally.”
The initiative builds upon the success of the 2023 Exchange Program, where Quayclean sent two senior team leaders to the UK to collaborate with us during the prestigious Royal Ascot and Silverstone British Grand Prix events. The program has further strengthened the international partnership between the two organisations, whilst fostering cross-cultural learning and sharing of best practices.
