The November Meeting, from 16th-18th November 2018, provided three days of adrenalin-packed action to enjoy at the Home of Jump Racing.
The CleanEvent Services team did a great job keeping the venue in top condition throughout the three days and the Regional Buildings and Maintenance Co-ordinator, Jockey Club Racecourses commented:
“We have had three fantastic days’ racing both on and off the track. This meeting has always been one of the trickier ones to get right, requiring massive input from all the teams on site with all the Countryside activities on the Friday, marquee changes overnight and great numbers arriving on the Saturday. This year it was trickier still, with the introduction of Gloucestershire and Racing Remember (GRR) on the Sunday.
It has been a lot of work for everyone but, between you all, you delivered a quite exceptional three days. A very special thanks to the night team who delivered an almost perfect site on each morning. I have been delighted at the feedback I have received over the meeting as to the helpfulness and professionalism of our colleagues in an array of different areas and I was really pleased to see everyone working so well together to create an exceptional experience for our racegoers. Thank you again for all your efforts in making a great three days.”
The event attracted almost 73,000 racegoers and provided an outstanding event for GRR on the Sunday with the parades and aerial display. A racegoer commented: “I had tickets for Tattersalls and enjoyed a lovely atmosphere. Plenty of food stalls to fill the gaps when required and a lively atmosphere in the Guinness Village. Toilets were spotless!”
Well done to all the CleanEvent Services team!
