For more than ten years, BASIS has been a trusted resource for sports clubs, venues and governing bodies, offering expert guidance to help organisations to understand their environmental impacts, establish goals and implement strategies to enhance their environmental performance.

BASIS envisions utilising the influence of sports to construct a sustainable future, with a mission to empower the UK’s sports sector to lead globally in sustainability, driven by scientific urgency.

Recognising the role of sport in fostering healthy living and community development, BASIS also acknowledges the potential of elite sports to inspire societal progress towards social and environmental sustainability.
