CleanEvent Services was pleased to participate in the influential European Stadium and Safety Management Association (ESSMA) Summit, held at the impressive Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Staged over two days in January, the summit was attended by key representatives from a wide range of sport governing bodies, stadium operators, national football associations and professional football clubs. This year’s summit addressed a number of topics including sustainability, stadium operations and fan experience.
The content of the summit, and in particular, the focus on fan journey and positive interaction were of particular interest to CleanEvent Services delegates Jan Stephenson, District Manager Ireland and Julian Kelly, Business Development Manager.
Julian commented: “High cleaning standards and positive customer service are key ingredients of the very best guest experiences. Enthused, knowledgeable and helpful stewards, cleaning staff and retail teams lie at the heart of every successful stadium event and their input can boost repeat visits and increase revenue spend per patron. Events such as the ESSMA summit enable us to recognise the wider objectives and developments within the stadium and events sector, and incorporate these within our operating models. As the only independent cleaning service provider attending the event, we found it extremely useful for both commercial and operational reasons.”
