CleanEvent Services has supported Freshney Place Shopping Centre in winning an Investors in the Environment Silver Award. The award recognises a commitment to reducing environmental impact and the continual improvement of environmental performance.
Andy Barker and the CleanEvent Services team worked closely with the Freshney Place operations team to reduce the environmental impact of the shopping centre in their chosen categories of electricity usage, paper usage, gas usage, water usage, waste and recycling. Environmental improvements against a base year of data were presented to achieve the Silver Award, and the team are now striving to make further progress, to achieve Green status, the top level.
