We are proud to announce a double win at the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2025, held in Edinburgh. The company was recognised in two key categories: Rising Star of the Year, awarded to Corey Watts, and Excellence in Client–Contractor Partnerships, in collaboration with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
The annual awards, organised by the European Cleaning Journal, celebrate outstanding achievement and innovation across Europe’s professional cleaning sector. CleanEvent’s recognition reflects its values-led approach, long-standing client relationships and investment in people development.
Rising Star Award – Corey Watts
Corey Watts, People and Safety Co-ordinator, began his journey with CleanEvent Services at the age of 16. His award highlights not only his personal growth and leadership, but the company’s commitment to talent development, succession planning and internal progression. Corey exemplifies our FRESH values — Flexibility, Responsibility, Empowerment, Sustainability and Honesty — and continues to be a role model for peers across the business.
Excellence in Client–Contractor Partnerships – Tottenham Hotspur FC
CleanEvent’s partnership with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, which spans nearly two decades, was honoured for its strength, adaptability and performance. The judging panel recognised the collaboration as a model of operational excellence, where service delivery is fully embedded within the club’s world-class matchday and event experience. The relationship is led on-site by General Manager Hilary Collins and a dedicated team of experienced managers and supervisors.
