CleanEvent Services supports Charities

As part of CleanEvent Services commitment to add value to our contract at Birmingham City Football Club we sponsor the club. As a result of this, we have a table in the prestigious Jasper Carrott Suite for a number of matches through the season.

CleanEvent Services decided to donate some of the seats at the tables to the charities listed below, to help with their very special needs. All the charities selected also received a signed, framed shirt or signed ball, which they can auction to raise funds.

CleanEvent Services’ Expertise in Norovirus Containment

The Pyeongchang Winter Olympics is the latest sporting event to be affected by a norovirus outbreak, with 1200 security guards isolated. Soldiers have been drafted in to provide security, whilst the guards are confined to their rooms because of the contagious vomiting bug.

CleanEvent Services was pleased to participate in the influential European Stadium and Safety Management Association (ESSMA) Summit, held at the impressive Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Staged over two days in January, the summit was attended by key representatives from a wide range of sport governing bodies, stadium operators, national football associations and professional football clubs. This year’s summit addressed a number of topics including sustainability, stadium operations and fan experience.

We are pleased to announce that there are two winners of our October Employee of the Month Award:

Mark Stewart of our Eastgate Shopping Centre team in Inverness received an award for his initiative, commitment and client service. Mark is a Security Team Leader and during the recent change to polymer bank notes demonstrated Adding Value 365. The client had not upgraded the car park payment machines to accept the new notes and change floats ran low on a very busy Sunday when the banks were closed. Mark arranged to change more than £900 of the new £10 notes with various businesses around the centre, allowing the car park to operate as

CleanEvent Services has been providing back of house and kitchen support services to The One Group at Me London Hotel and The Hippodrome Casino since 2015. The One Group operates the renowned STK restaurant and Radio Rooftop Bar and CleanEvent Services provides a full kitchen porter and cleaning service to all food preparation areas.

Coopers Square Shopping Centre in Burton Upon Trent has been awarded The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) President’s Award.

The President’s Award is presented to organisations that have achieved 10 consecutive annual Gold Awards.
