The Service

CleanEvent Services deliver a managed service to provide support staff for a range of soft facility services in Healthcare including:

  • Healthcare Cleaning
  • Healthcare Host/Hostess
  • Healthcare Catering Assistants
  • Healthcare Portering
  • Healthcare Security
  • Healthcare Switchboard

Role Description

The post holder will be required to liaise with the management and supervisory teams at three hospitals to co-ordinate and manage the supply of temporary staff. This will include regular liaison with our labour supply partners.

Reporting to the CleanEvent Healthcare Lead and overseeing the service of a team of Healthcare staff providing a range of services as outlined above.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction and guidance from the CleanEvent management team:

  • Direct, motivate and encourage all personnel under your management
  • Screening and inducting of staff provided by our approved labour supply partners
  • Provide an efficient, safe, consistent and quality service to the complete satisfaction of CleanEvent clients observing all the appropriate procedures and guidelines of CleanEvent and the clients policy
  • Manage team members’ performance to undertake tasks as required to meet the responsibilities of this job role
  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed by all team members
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to dress and behaviour codes
  • Maintain effective communications with the client and their Management/ supervisory teams
  • Maintain effective and professional communications with the Company’s approved labour supply agencies
  • Plan the weekly staffing requirements with the hospital service managers/supervisor at each location
  • Motivating team members and ensuring that good working relationship is maintained with and between team members
  • Assist the hospital management team in the sign in and out of staff in accordance with the rota
  • Monitor staff whilst on shift
  • Provide further training for staff on a regular basis
  • To carry out service audit’s and provide reports
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed and available for inspection via Manager
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to start/ breaks / finish times
